| More info | The BBC will be filming this TONIGHT (wednesday) for a small TV and Radio segment about North-East hiphop. We thought we'd set up a showcase for them, so we can get as many people as possible from the scene involved. Therefore we'll be hosting a "Cypher" in the basement of The Kings Manor Pub TONIGHT from 7pm. Just for those that don't know, this is NOT a battle or an open mic. Anyone wishing to take part in the actual cypher needs to arrive by 7pm to register their name. If you snooze, you lose. Every participant shows the others respect. Writtens are fine, freestyles are encouraged. Please try not to swear in case the footage is broadcast!!! ANYONE WISHING TO TAKE PART IN THE CYPHER MUST REGISTER AT 7PM. There will also be tunes provided by the mighty DJ GIRO and the bar will, of course, be open for drinks. (18+ EVENT) ENTRY IS FREE Come down, get involved, have some banter with everyone else in the scene and, above all, HAVE SOME FUN!!! |
